Music fans may wish to trade-in their mobile phone and upgrade to a new and snazzy device in order to watch videos from the biggest stars.

Fame Count has announced Lady Gaga is the first artist to break the one billion landmark number of YouTube views.

Earlier this morning (October 29th), the US star’s account had registered 1,002,734,757 views, ahead of the likes of Justin Bieber, who has passed 900,000.

Musical acts make up 12 of the top 20 most-watched videos on the site, with singers such as Eminem and Katy Perry also enjoying a surge in popularity at the moment, according to the statistics portal.

One way to enjoy their tracks on the go is to trade-in a mobile and invest in a smartphone capable of playing videos via the internet.

Recently released handsets including the Nokia N8, HTC Desire HD and Samsung Omnia 7 offer this capability to their owners.
