Research published this week has shown that people of all kinds have taken to the latest gadgets, which may include those recycling mobile phones.

The study, which was commissioned by the South Korean manufacturer behind the recently launched Motorola DEXT, suggested all age groups are now keen to have the most up-to-date technology.

It advised this was due to more demand for being constantly connected with friends and family via telephones, social networking and other messaging frameworks.

Dan Moloney, president of the group’s home and networks mobility business, said it was clear there had been a shift in people’s attitudes of late.

"The barometer findings have demonstrated how networking technologies have had a really powerful impact in integrating the different facets of people’s lives," he added.

If you are looking to sell your mobile phone, the Motorola DEXT is an option that is available on the Orange network.
