Consumers looking to sell mobilephones they no longer need may want to shop for a replacement at a new Orange retail facility.

The carrier opened its new UK Multimedia Store in Milton Keynes’ thecentre:mk venue today (October 6th) and explained it would coincide with the release of one of the latest Google Android-powered handsets.

It was advised that the Motorola DEXT is also the first to come equipped with the MOTOBLUR user interface and will be available for visitors to the facility to purchase.

Orange added the store had been "designed specifically to encourage engagement between consumers and the incredible range of multimedia technology" it had to offer.

Sian Doyle, director of the operator’s retail division, said it was great to have the "much-anticipated Motorola DEXT" to help open the outlet.

The handset was unveiled last month and is known in other markets as the CLIQ. The MOTOBLUR interface is designed to link facilities such as Facebook, Twitter and Gmail in one central location.
