A mobile trade-in could be the perfect course of action for consumers who would like to enjoy the benefits of long-term evolution (LTE) technology, otherwise known as 4G.

Phil, author of the latest Nokia Conversations blog, explains there are numerous reasons for wanting to upgrade to the connection.

The first of these is a “no-brainer” he says, noting it will mean higher definition video – something that, in turn, will result in more bandwidth and an increase in quality.

He goes on to suggest real-time gaming, cloud computing – that is only possible with “lightning fast speeds” – and multiple downloads are other advantages of 4G.

People can also “say goodbye” to the process of syncing a mobile with a laptop, as transferring large files will be a realistic option with the technology, Phil suggests.

The blog this week named the Nokia N8 as its Best Product of 2010 in its annual awards.
