Mobile network Three has announced it is to stock an upcoming Nokia handset, the C7, when it is released later this year.

The news could be of interest to those who are planning to trade-in a used phone, as the handset is arguably a fine replacement.

Its specifications include the provision of an eight-megapixel camera, a 3.5-inch high-resolution touchscreen and video recording technology.

"Our customers know how to make the most of our fast and reliable 3G network. Pairing the Nokia C7 with our network gives our customers the best Symbian 3 experience possible," says Sylvia Chind, head of branded devices at Three.

The model also features a sleek and stylish design, with its thickness measuring only 10.5mm.

Of particular interest to youngsters could be the built-in social networking capability, which offers an instant link to Facebook and Twitter.

Nokia recently announced the release of the C7, along with the C6 and E7, while the N8 is set to be launched on September 30th.
