Mobile phone users currently with Orange may wish to head to Glastonbury this weekend and enjoy the work of their network provider.

The firm, which is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the famous festival with a Chill n Charge tent, will offer visitors a look at the past, present and future.

Included in this is a 360-degree projection of what it believes Glastonbury will look like in 2050, as well as models of it in previous years.

Orange is also offering help to the thousands of people expected to take a mobile phone to the festival with them by providing about 800 charging points.

And on top of that, the company has invited a series of musicians – including Ellie Goulding – to play an acoustic set in its tent.

Some festival-goers could be decked out in the Wellington boots recently launched by Orange, which use heat taken from the body during the day to recharge a mobile phone at night.
