Mobile phone customers on O2’s Pay and Go tariffs have been told of some changes which could prove beneficial.

Its "highly successful" sim-only Simplicity deal has been extended to Pay and Go customers, giving them more control and flexibility.

The Simplicity deal starts at £5 for unlimited texts, moving on to £10 for either unlimited internet or inclusive cross-network calls.

Pay and Go mobile phone customers can get all three features for £20.

According to the network: "The new Pay and Go option allows them to switch the tariff on and off as they need it."

O2 recently announced that from May 28th the Palm Pixi Plus and the Palm Pre Plus will be available to its customers.

The Pixi Plus – complete with qwerty keyboard for easy messaging online – is phone maker Palm’s thinnest phone and will be available online and across all stores in the UK.
