Microsoft has announced it is to release two new mobile phones – the Kin One and the Kin Two.

The handsets are small enough to fit in the palm of an adult’s hand and might be an option for people that prefer their device to not be too large.

A full qwerty keyboard is a feature available on both handsets, as is a touchscreen display and an operating system which is tailored towards the use of social networking sites such as Facebook and Myspace.

The keyboard might be a factor that tempts some consumers to sell their old mobile phone for cash with Mazuma, but they could then be left to pick between the Kin One and Kin Two.

It has recently been reported the British child protection agency and Facebook are holding discussions to ensure children using the site are kept safe, which may include the addition of panic buttons.
