The possibility of trading in mobile phones and signing up for a new deal with O2 could be an appealing one to people in London, after a new store was opened.

Located on Tottenham Court Road, the exciting feature of the outlet is its walk-in workshop that has space for 75 people.

As well as browsing the latest devices and mulling over the best plans, consumers can work from the comfortable surroundings of the store.

It is hoped that this feature will appeal to small businesses, whose staff could benefit from available commercial space in the capital.

“We continue to trial new retail environments, such as our first supermarket concession, and now in the form of the O2 Workshop at Tottenham Court Road,” explained Richard Baylis, head of O2 Retail.

The company recently announced it now has six million users of its O2 More technology, which aims to offer personalised promotions from a host of brands.
