The South Korean firm has released the LG Optimus L1 2 and the mobile phone brings with it a very affordable price tag of just £90.

Although we seem to have missed the first edition of the handset, the Optimus L1 2 carries a three-inch display, 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage, two-megapixel camera, 1,540mAh battery and runs Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2.

The LG Optimus L1 2 isn't going to break any smartphone records but it does come with a bargain price tag which makes it cheaper than the Optimus L3 2.

Three is thought to be exclusively offering the handset and will release the device in the first week of September, offering both black and white variants of the device. It is expected that other carriers will pick up the LG Optimus L1 2 after this period but more details remain unknown for the moment.
