The LG Nexus 4 Android smartphone will go on sale in the UK on October 30th, a Carphone Warehouse leak suggests.

The mobile phone seller seemed to accidentally put information about the imminent device on its website, and eagle-eyed technology fans took screenshots before the retailer managed to take the page down.

Resulting images which have been posted online show that the company expected to deliver pre-ordered devices on October 30th, indicating that they will go on store shelves on Tuesday.

It seems that the handset will only be in available in black, and contracts including the gadget for free will start from £31 per month, presumably on a 24-month agreement.

Specifications in this leak are in line with previous information, showing a 4.7-inch screen, 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 processor and 133.9 by 9.1-millimetre measurements.

Google is expected to formally introduce the device, and unveil whether it will run Android 4.2 as rumoured, at an October 29th event.
