News about the upcoming flexible mobile phone has been flying around the rumour mill for a while. However, the company has now officially unveiled the LG G Flex allowing people to see the device and all its features.

People are comparing the device to the LG G2 because the pair share a lot of the same specifications as both come with Qualcomm's quad-core 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB RAM.

However, the LG G Flex has many other features including multi-window capabilities and smart face tracking technology. The device is larger and heavier than LG's previous handsets and will bring a six-inch HD screen

The camera is also different as it includes a green LED light as well as the white option, which claims to make the face recognition better.

Benchmarks indicate that the LG G Flex is capable of outperforming the LG G2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It is expected to land in Europe next year (2014) so shouldn't be too much longer.
