Some mobile phone users were left disappointed earlier this year when Samsung released its curved display handset, after rumours had speculated that the device would have a flexible screen.

However, it appears that LG could be the answer to all your flexible-screen dreams with its G Flex. The handset has surfaced online in a video that shows the device bending out of its normal shape.

The demo video was picked up by Engadget and the website noted that it took "reasonable amount of force" to bend the phone out of its shape.

LG's six-inch device will bring a 720p OLED screen, Qualcomm 800 Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM and 13-megapixel camera.

It's unclear when the device will be released, as well as how the flexible screen actually works and whether there are any limitations. LG has not yet confirmed where the handset will be launched yet either so it appears we'll have to wait a little bit longer to get our hands on the bendy screen.
