According to ZDNet Korea, users will be able to see a mobile phone that will be capable of bending up to 90 degrees in the future.
LG has promised that the G Flex 2 will be a truly bendable smartphone saying the device will be "bendable with force," according to the Korean website.
Both of the currently bendy phones – the LG G Flex and the Samsung Galaxy Round – don't bend to this degree and also have not yet made it out of the Asian market.
The battle of the bend appears to be between these two companies as Samsung has been researching flexible displays for a while. However, the next-generation LG G Flex could beat its rival to release the first actually bendy handset.
However, as neither the LG G Flex or Samsung Galaxy Round has made it to the UK, it could be that people outside of Asia won't see the next generation of flexible handsets either.
