The LG Arena has been given a makeover that Orange mobile phone users could soon get their hands on.

It was announced this week by the South Korean handset manufacturer that a new pink version of its flagship device would be launched as an exclusive to the network.

Further to this, LG took the opportunity to remind consumers about some of the many applications, functions and multimedia options that the gadget has to offer.

Launched earlier this year, the LG Arena KM900 was described by some reviewers as a real rival to the Apple iPhone 3G, with a five-megapixel camera that outshines the two-megapixel snapper of its competitor.

Also onboard the model is a three-inch touchscreen WVGA display, 8 GB of internal storage, support for up to 40 GB external memory with a microSD card and 3G, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity.

"LG and Orange are enjoying working together to bring popular models to market and expanding ranges," said Jeremy Newing, head of marketing at the former company in the UK.
