After the recent news that Google has sold Motorola, after making a significant loss, to Lenovo, speculation is now wondering whether the company will keep the search-engine giant's plans for future mobile phones.

According to G4Games, which spoke to a source who claims to have a "pretty flawless track record", Motorola's devices for this year and 2015 have already been confirmed and won't change under its new owners.

If the reports are true, there won't be much change now that Motorola is in the hands of Lenovo. This means that previous rumours should still be accurate, including ones that suggested that the Moto X could arrive by the end of 2014.

The report also said that the Moto X is already confirmed and in the pipeline so the new owners won't be able to make any alterations.

It means that Lenovo won't be able to make any real impact on what smartphones and other devices are produced by Motorola until the start of 2016 at the earliest.
