Although Apple's latest mobile phones – the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C – have only just hit the shelves, it appears that attention is already turning to what the Cupertino company could offer next.
The iPhone 6 is expected to arrive in September 2014 and carry a five-inch screen, according to a Japanese magazine, Mac Fan.
Although it's difficult to put much value to this rumour, it does seem to be supporting the idea that Apple is planning to experiment with the size of its screens.
A five-inch screen would make the display an entire inch bigger than the that of the current models, the iPhone 5S and 5C.
According to Tech Radar, reports have predicted that Apple could boost the screen size to six inches, though Mac Fan seem fairly determined that the iPhone 6 will carry a five-inch display.
The Japanese magazine also thinks that the upcoming device will be a full-HD 1080p Retina screen, though it's unclear where the publication got its information from.
