Another week, and another rumour about Apple's next iPhone device.

According to iMore, the iPhone 5S could be released as soon as August, coming just 11 months after its sister was launched by the tech giant.

The website claims that it has been told that the new product will have the same basic design as the iPhone 5, but will feature a more advanced processor and improved camera.

This might not be enough for Apple to take back the initiative from rival Samsung, which appears to have stolen a march on the smartphone crown thanks to its Galaxy S3.

The South Korean manufacturer will unveil the S4 later this month, and Apple appears to have a battle on its hands to keep hold of consumers who claimed that the iPhone 5 did not offer enough of an improvement over the 4S.

iMore also said that a new iPad 5 and potentially iPad Mini 2 could be made available as early as April.
