Although many Apple fans were eager to update their mobile phones to the iOS 7 when it was released last year (2013), a number of people have experienced a multiple bugs.

Since getting the last software update, quite a few users have reported incidents where their handsets freeze and show a “white screen of death”. However, Apple has now said it is in the process of creating a fix, although it has been four months since the iOS 7 update was launched around the world.

“We have a fix in an upcoming software update for a bug that can occasionally cause a home screen crash,” Apple spokesperson Trudy Muller told Mashable.

It is likely that this update will be rolled into the iOS 7.1 download but this hasn’t been confirmed by the company yet. This could be because a release date for such an update hasn’t been announced yet, although the beta version is currently being tested by developers.
