Huawei has announced that its Ascend P2 mobile phone will be released in the UK next month.
The handset carries a 4.7-inch HD display, 1GB of RAM, 13 megapixel camera and 4G connectivity.
It will also run Android Jelly Bean 4.1, be powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and pack a 2,420mAh battery.
Huawei’s Ascend P2 will be in direct competition with the iPhone 5 and therefore users can expect to pay between £350 and £400 to get their hands on the new Chinese smartphone.
When the company unveiled the device at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year it proclaimed that it was “the world’s fastest smartphone”, now it appears it won’t be too long until users can put it to the test.
