The new budget handset from HTC could feature the front-facing dual speakers that have only been seen previously on the premium HTC One mobile phone.

Leaked images show the new budget handset, dubbed the HTC 608t, to have the same innovative design feature as the company's flagship model although it sports a plastic shell rather than the high-end metallic version.

The new device is expected to carry a 4.5-inch LCD display, Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 as well as a mighty quad-core processor, eight mega-pixel camera, rear camera and 1GB of RAM.

However the leaked images have a China Mobile logo emblazoned across so it may be wise to assume that it will be heading to Asia first. A global itinerary hasn't been confirmed by the company so it is unclear whether it will make it to British shores.

It was only last month when the HTC 606w emerged in China which brought the UltraPixel camera technology to a budget-friendly handset but we've still heard no word about when other countries may receive it.
