An Android update of the Jelly Bean operating system could be available for users who have an HTC One mobile phone, according to a developer.
GottaBeMobile picked up a tweet from @LlabTooFeR, who works in the industry, saying that the Jelly Bean operating system update will be released for HTC One users at the end of this month or the beginning of next.
If the rumours come to fruition it should ease some of the tension between Android and HTC users who were disappointed that the company’s flagship device came with an operating system that was released nearly a year ago now.
However, there are also rumours that Android 4.3 may not be that far away either, so the company may not appease HTC customers for long.
The Taiwanese firm hasn’t confirmed anything about whether or not the HTC One handset will be receiving the Jelly Bean update.
