The HTC One has been officially unveiled, following much speculation and alleged leaks about the Taiwanese manufacturer’s new flagship mobile phone.
As rumours suggested, the device does sport an UltraPixel camera, which ensures that users can take better snaps in low light.
Other specifications are impressive, and put it firmly in the premium bracket, where it will rival the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Apple iPhone 5.
An attractive and unique design is sure to mean that it will stand out on the shelves – an aluminium uni-body, available in black or silver, surrounds the 4.7-inch HD display and features a distinctive speaker grill.
A 1.7 GHz quad-core processor works alongside 2 GB of RAM and the Android Jelly Bean operating system to provide smooth and speedy performance.
Chief executive at the manufacturer Peter Chou said: “A new, exciting approach to the smartphone is needed and […] we have re-imagined the mobile experience from the ground up to reflect this.”
