Consumers with gaming-enabled mobile phones like the HTC Magic may be interested in a new review that utilises characters from Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

The sixth entry in the book and movie series has been once again been given a playable adaptation for the latest phones and the 3G Blog has posted its thoughts regarding the title.

It suggested the software would be popular with more than just those who are invested in the franchise, which is penned by British author J K Rowling and has spanned seven novels.

"This great looking Harry Potter game blends in an altogether decent adventure with a good supply of puzzle solving, spell casting and vague storytelling. A little easy, but surprisingly entertaining," the piece concluded.

Split into two instalments, the movie version of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is currently being filmed for a 2010 and 2011 release.
