Those looking to sell mobilephones for a Microsoft-powered device may wish to hear one expert’s recent comments.

Reviewed by T3 this week, the HTC HD2 is one of the latest devices to emerge from the manufacturer that is not equipped with Google’s Android operating system – like its Hero and Magic siblings.

However, the site’s Gareth Beavis pointed out that although Windows Mobile is the software of choice for this particular model, one of the stand-out facilities is the company’s own Sense user interface.

The writer added the HD2 makes Windows Mobile look better than it is, removing the “frustration” of not being able to engage with it properly – which can occur in other devices.

“With HTC’s messaging widgets, email and texting is super easy to set up and even easier to read – simply flick through a pile of messages to see what’s been going on,” he added.

The manufacturer’s Hero model was launched on 3 Mobile last Friday, having already been added to Orange’s catalogue of handsets.
