Virgin Media has added the HTC HD2 to the range of handsets that it offers to customers, it has been revealed.

The handset will be available on a £30 per month, 24-month contract for free.

Jonathan Kini, director of mobile at Virgin Media, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer the HD2 through one of the best and most competitive deals in the market.”

He described the HTC HD2 as a “stunning handset” and the first-ever HTC-branded phone range by Virgin Media.

Consumers may be tempted to upgrade to the handset which boasts the 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor – one of the fastest on the market.

The mobile phone also has 4.3-inch screen which should ensure that the HD2 is “perfect for mobile internet, social networking and entertainment on the go”.

Consumers could be pleased that the handset is available again as Vodafone recently opted to drop the HD2.
