Many people have already seen the HTC Desire 601 appear but it still is unclear where the mobile phone will be made available and who will be able to get their hands on it.

The mid-range smartphone could land in America, which opens it up to the other big markets such as the UK and Australia too, if a listing by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is anything to go by.

Documents at the regulator show that HTC's Desire 601 is codenamed Zara and it also indicates the build number and that it supports LTE band 25. The only other details to emerge from the filing is that the device will come sporting Android 4.2.2, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC.

Unfortunately, pricing and exactly where the HTC Desire 601 will be heading is still unknown, although these kind of details shouldn't be that far away.
