HTC has confirmed that the mobile phone dubbed the Butterfly J in Japan and the Droid DNA in the US will be released worldwide, simply known as the Butterfly.
This device has a five-inch HD display, which means photographs taken with the eight-megapixel camera look fantastic.
There's also a front-facing snapper, which makes conducting video calls and taking self-portraits far easier.
Just like the HTC One XL, this handset has Beats Audio technology which offers high-definition sound when using the in-built multimedia player.
A 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and the Android operating system power the handset, enabling smooth and fast performance.
This software allows user to access virtual application store Google Play, which has over 700,000 tools and games available for download.
Internal storage of 16 GB is included, but users can store more music, video, image and app files by utilising the micro SD slot, which supports cards up to 32 GB.
