Many people have speculated that Google will be releasing its next mobile phone later this month.
However, despite little official news surfacing, there have been plenty of leaks and rumours, which make the existence of the Nexus 5 pretty likely. Many people are curious about how much the new Google device will set you back, especially with Google's mantra of delivering high-power phones at an affordable cost.
When the Nexus 4 was released it cost just £239 and £279 for the 8GB and 16GB versions. Both devices have been slashed by Google, seemingly to get rid of stock before making way for the new handset.
According to TechRadar, an unknown source told PhoneArena that the smartphone will arrive at the cost of $299 (£185). Even though taxes and other charges will need to be added, that puts the handset at an incredibly low price.
Other reports have suggested that the Nexus 5 will be half the price of Apple's iPhone 5S, which would make it around £275.
However, it appears that we shouldn't have to wait too much longer until we hear some official news from the search-engine giant.
