A special tenth anniversary version of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City could be coming to iOS and Android mobile phones on December 6th.
Developer Rockstar has not confirmed whether this release applies globally, or whether it is just the American sale date. However, it is likely that the UK schedule will be the same.
The iOS version has been priced at $4.99, so iPhone owners will most likely be able to download the game from the App Store for £2.99.
Samsung Galaxy S3 and other Android device owners should install the app using Google Play. The fee through this virtual retailer is likely to be around the £3 mark.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City became the best-selling game of 2002 after its release for the PlayStation 2 console, and was consequently released for Windows, Xbox and Mac OS X devices.
It has become one of the most popular and profitable video games franchises of all time, and the newest version Grand Theft Auto V should hit stores in spring.
