Grand Theft Auto: Vice City will be coming to mobile phones across the country as British publisher Rockstar Games celebrates the game’s tenth anniversary.

The original version was released for the PlayStation 2 video games console on October 29th 2002, and was later on sale for the Xbox, as well as Windows and Mac personal computers.

Players will be able to get the game on their handset for the first time soon, and the developers have promised “the full experience”.

The game series was extremely popular, with 13 versions already published.

It has already been made available on portable gadgets like the Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable (PSP), so the mobile phone platform should be effective.

Those who own iOS devices like the Apple iPhone 5 should be able to download the game soon from the App Store, while users with Android-powered handsets such as the Samsung Galaxy S3 may be able to install vice City from Google Play imminently.
