Samsung's new flagship mobile phone has launched in the UK, though it is only available from Vodafone – meaning many fans will miss out.

The gold handset is making its way over to us Brits, with fans being able to pre-order the smartphone from March 28th.

Samsung will be hoping to emulate Apple's success when it released its golden iPhone last year. The Cupertino company's good track record encouraged other manufacturers like HTC and Samsung to release gold versions of their One and Galaxy S4 flagships.
However, Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S5 will also come in black, white and blue, just in case you're not a fan of gold, though there is no news as to when these other devices will be available to pre-order.

The news has led many Samsung fans on other networks to wonder when they will be able to get their hands on the shiny new smartphone.
