Travellers who spend a lot of time in airports and airport lounges may be in pole position to benefit from trading-in their mobile and upgrading to an Apple iPhone.
Priority Pass – the group that is responsible for running lounges at a number of major travel hubs around the world – has announced it has launched a special app for both the iPhone and iPad.
The tools will allow passengers to check on details from more than 600 airports and book a space at them.
"Our members are constantly on the move and these apps are ideal for quickly finding a bit of peace and quiet at the airport," says Jonathan French, head of brand at Priority Pass.
He adds there are similar tools on the market for users of both Android and BlackBerry powered handsets.
Apple is thought to be in the process of developing both a second version of the iPad and the iPhone 5.
