Those who like to drink at the Wetherspoon's chain of pubs and eateries around the UK may find they benefit from selling a used mobile and putting the cash towards an iPhone.
That is because the revolutionary device now offers an app specifically designed to locate the nearest hostely, explains Rich Trenholm, writing for CNET UK.
"Looking for a cheap pint and the chance of a decent conversation without having to shout over dreadful hits of the day? There's an app for that – the Wetherspoon Pub Finder," he states.
Users can search by either postcode or town in order to find their closest branch of the cheap pub chain.
Those who have had a few too many already can even switch their device to simply show a series of arrows leading them in the right direction, rather than a map that could be looking a little blurry by then.
Owners of an iPhone can download tens of thousands of apps from Apple's iTunes Store.
