he upcoming mobile phone-tablet hybrid from HTC has emerged on the internet under the new name of the HTC One Max.

According to a JP Morgan analyst in Hong Kong, the new device will lose its HTC T6 codename and opt for a more size-focused title and should be released in Q3 of this year.

Speculation that the HTC phablet would carry a 2.2GHz Snapdragon processor and will run Key Lime Pie were also confirmed.

It is also thought that the upcoming handset will feature a 5.9-inch HD touchscreen, but as nothing has been officially released by HTC it's difficult to say anything for certain.

However the new, giant phone from the company seems to be setting Samsung as a direct rival with its own mighty devices like the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy Mega.
