Fans of smartphones may be interested to hear Three is now selling the iPhone 4 in its stores across the UK.

People could sell their old phone to generate cash, which they could then use towards the cost of a new iPhone 4.

The handset comes with Retina technology, giving it a crisp display and uses the highest resolution ever built into a phone.

Marc Allera, sales and marketing manager at Three, said the company has had fantastic feedback from its customers since the launch of the iPhone 4 on Three.

“With our 3G network – already the UK’s biggest – and our exciting price plans, we hope to deliver a truly market-leading experience for iPhone users,” he added.

Earlier this month, the BBC created an app for the Apple iPhone that will allow users to view content from the news provider on their handsets.

Those who want to have access to the app may consider selling their old mobile phone so they can buy an iPhone, as it is the only smartphone at the moment that it is available on.
