People who trade-in their mobile and upgrade to an Apple iPhone now have the opportunity to access a number of cocktail recipes using the popular spirit Cognac.
Authorities in the French region from which the beverage takes its name have launched an app for the device that offers tips on how best to use it, Harpers Wine and Spirit magazine notes.
Cognac Summit provides 13 different cocktail recipes, all of which can be downloaded and come with a complete glossary of the terms used within them.
Some of the cocktails were first created more than 200 years ago, such as Mint Juleps, which was made in Virginia in approximately 1800.
Users who buy an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad will be able to secure the app and begin using the fun ways to spice up their favourite drink.
Apple's latest incarnation of the model, the iPhone 4, was launched in the UK and four other countries in June.
