YouTube has revealed its first official Most Watched lists, providing an insight into what people were watching the most in 2009.

Topping the list of the most watched videos was Susan Boyle, who shot to fame on ITV show Britain’s Got Talent and is listed as having more than 120 million views.

The Apple iPhone 3G allows easy access to YouTube and may be an option for consumers wanting to trade in their old mobile phone.

As well as the Most Watched lists, the website has unveiled a month-by-month list of the fastest rising search terms. The lists provide a rundown of some of the biggest news and entertainment stories of the year.

Chad Hurley, chief executive officer and co-founder of YouTube, said: "From a new singer’s debut on the world stage to newlyweds dancing down the aisle, YouTube offers everyone a way to experience and share in the big or small moments that touch millions of people around the world.

Susan Boyle has recently released her debut album I Dreamed A Dream and has appeared on TV worldwide.
