People thinking of upgrading their phones may like to consider selling their old mobile so they can purchase the latest offering from BlackBerry maker Research in Motion.

According to a review in the New Delhi Chronicle, the new device makes “other telecom giants sit up and take notice”.

The news provider stated the smartphone is “equal to if not better than the iPhone 4”.

Individuals who are contemplating selling their old mobile could get a BlackBerry Torch, as the author noted it is the best phone from Research in Motion for a long time.

The fact the handset has a qwerty keyboard and a touchscreen means the device offers the best of both worlds, the publication claimed.

Earlier this week, Sainsbury’s announced it will now have facilities in its stores that will enable Britons to recycle old mobile phone chargers.

The supermarket chain is looking to collect around 150,000 of the plugs over the next month.
