BlackBerry was once a giant in the mobile phone world but it appears the company is now struggling with the competition, as reports suggest it is looking for a buyer for its business very soon.
The Canadian manufacturer is said to be looking for a quick sale which could be completed as soon as November this year, according to the Wall Street Journal. It comes just days after Microsoft announced that it has agreed a billion-dollar deal to take over at Nokia.
Last month, after its new operating system BB10 and several devices failed to fly off the shelves, BlackBerry announced that it would be open to offers. Many saw the operating system as the company's last shot at trying to get back in the game, and it appears it didn't work. Both the BlackBerry Q10 and Z10 devices failed to sell as well as expected.
However, there are rumours that the firm still has handsets in the works which are due to be released before we welcome 2014.
