A white version of the Blackberry Q10 mobile phone has gone on sale across the UK.

Only Carphone Warehouse and Selfridges are stocking the newest edition of the Qwerty handset.

Carphone Warehouse are offering it for £33 a month on a two-year contract and Selfridges sell the new handset for a mighty £579.

The Blackberry Q10 sports 4G LTE support, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and an eight mega-pixel camera, as well as running the latest operating system from the company, BB10.

Selfridges has already had significant success with the Q10, reporting that it is selling "thousands" every hour in the device's debut weekend on sale.

Although the smartphone is a little more expensive than its rival, the iPhone 5, BlackBerry's chief executive Thorsten Heins described it as a "high quality" handset for hyper-connected multitaskers that need to get the job done.
