Apple has been criticised for not being innovative enough with its last few mobile phones. However, its upcoming software update is unlikely to see many big changes but will fix bugs that many users have found tedious since the iOS 7 update last year (2013).
The Cupertino software has been in the hands of developers who have been trying and testing a beta version of the operating system. However, more recent reports have suggested that the latest update is just around the corner.
According to 9to5Mac, the iOS 7.1 will arrive in March, which supports previous rumours that have been doing the rounds.
It’s unlikely that the latest update will bring any innovative new tricks or speed enhancements for Apple fans, but it is hoped the arrival of the software will end a number of annoying bugs.
There should be an improved Calendar app and iOS in the Car, as well as a supposed fix for the ‘black screen of death’ that has tormented many users.
