Have you ever dropped your iPhone and picked it up and found that you've cracked the screen?
If so, you're far from alone, and plenty of us here will sympathise deeply with your trauma and distress!
But it seems the actual process of getting your screen mended is about to become a whole lot easier.
Apple has a gadget called the Horizon Machine that fixes cracked iPhone glass, the design of which is a closely guarded secret. It is currently only available in a few select retail stores across the world.
However, the company has confirmed that it is to introduce extra Horizon Machines in hundreds of authorised third-party repair centres in 25 different countries.
The UK is among them, so Brits who break their screen could find waiting for repairs at an Apple store much less time-consuming.
Let's not forget that Apple has only recently got into fixing phones, as it used to simply replace handsets if they were out of warranty.
And of course, people can always get their iPhone screen repaired at non-authorised stores, but run the risk of invalidating their warranty if the technician causes any damage.
It's therefore pretty exciting that going down official channels will become much easier.
Details of exactly which stores are set to be equipped with Horizon Machines haven't yet been released, so keep an eye out if you're no stranger to breaking your phone and expect to need repairs soon.
What we do know though is that about 200 authorised Apple service providers will get the devices in the coming months, with a further 200 coming by the end of this year.
