Vodafone will start to offer customers the Apple iPhone from January 14th, it has been reported.
The news could provide an opportunity for people considering upgrading their handset to sell their mobile for cash.
Consumers and business customers could benefit from the addition of the phone to the network with those who have pre-ordered or registered an interest in the Apple phone set to receive preferential treatment through the addition of free Vodafone to Vodafone calls for the duration of the initial contract.
Vodafone UK chief Guy Laurence said: “We started preparing our network over a year ago so that iPhone customers will really feel the advantage of being with Vodafone.”
He added that that company plans to provide “an outstanding iPhone experience” for its customers and deliver the speed and reliability that customers have said they value.
Tariffs for both business customers and consumers begin at £30 for a 24-month contract.
