Rumours are building about the next generation Apple iPhone, frequently referred to as the iPhone 5, which looks set to be unveiled on September 21st.
Speculation about the popular smartphone is high as Apple is renowned for keeping information about new releases secretive.
Many leaked photographs which claim to show the new iPhone have caused people to believe that the handset will be longer than its predecessors, apparently allowing a larger, four-inch screen. Also, a new type of touchscreen may mean the device will be thinner.
Vietnamese blogsite Tinhte.vn posted a video which seems to show new iPhone earphones. The white earbuds have remained reasonably unchanged since they famously featured in the original ‘dancing silhouette’ iPod adverts. The new design could mean additional comfort for users.
It’s not all good news though: there are worries that the current 30-pin connector will be replaced with a 19-pin version, meaning numerous existing accessories will not be compatible.
Multiple sources say that they are also expecting an iPad mini to be released in October.
