Mobile phone users wondering whether to upgrade their device may wish to do so after learning a little more about the Apple iPhone 4S.
ConsumerReports.org has revealed that it is backing the model as a great choice for British consumers.
In its latest ratings of smartphones document, the website said the new handset – released by Apple last month – performed particularly well in its tests.
Although it looks very similar to its predecessor, the Apple iPhone 4, there are a number of superior features and it does not suffer from the reception problems that have plagued the previous iteration of the range.
As well as signal, the iPhone 4S scored well in terms of battery life, the quality of its camera and the inclusion of Siri voice activation technology.
Research by IHS iSuppli recently found that the cost of putting together an iPhone 4S is approximately $250 (£156), making it a high-quality device.
