The HTC One X was updated to the Android 4.2 version, but it looks like the mobile phone won't be getting the Key Lime Pie Android download or anymore updates for that matter.

Reports suggest that the likelihood of the device being updated again as between "slim" and "none".

GottaBeMobile published tweets from notorious tipster @llabtoofer that indicated "4.2.2 will be the last update for One X".

The company hasn't yet confirmed when either update will be released and hasn't said what the schedule is for the dual-core HTC One X either.

It was enabled with Android Ice Cream Sandwich when the device was first released, but then updated to Jelly Bean 4.1 in November last year.

Key Lime Pie is expected to be the latest Android operating system, but nothing has been confirmed yet. It is predicted that Google will announce it at the company I/O event next month.
