An update to the Google Android Jelly Bean operating system is rolling out to Samsung Galaxy Nexus mobile phone owners across the globe.
Users can download the version 4.1.2 over the air using an internet connection, and eliminate some issues with bugs they may be experiencing.
Many reported a problem with the previous software as the entire month of December was eliminated from the people app, so owners could not input birthdays and anniversaries in this month.
However, it seems that Christmas is no longer cancelled for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus owners, and hopefully the update will roll out to other Android users imminently.
Gadget lovers who want to keep up-to-date with the latest version of the operating system should opt for the latest Google Nexus 4 device, which runs 4.2.
Upgrades tend to roll out to Nexus devices first, since Google is able to prioritise its own handset customers.
