Alcatel OneTouch has decided to join the likes of Apple iPhone and add a bit of colour to its range.

The POP S3 has been released to the market and is an LTE smartphone created to follow in the footsteps of its predecessors when it comes to being 'easy to choose, easy to use'.

It boasts a four-inch display and runs on Android 4.3, making it a compact and fun option.

The POP S3's low cost – retailing at just short of £100 –  means it's the perfect choice for the mass market. However, it doesn't compromise on quality.

It offers 4GB of internal memory and is run by a quad-core processor at 1.2GHz and 1GB of RAM.

Part of the appeal of the POP S3 is its customisable battery cover, available in three shades to suit the customer's taste and personality. Slate, yellow and white cases come as standard in the phone box, which will be appealing to many style-conscious buyers.

There are also plenty of user-focused features to allow for streaming over LTE and navigation is simple thanks to the one finger zoom.

Meanwhile, the full screen camera comes with video stabilisation, making it easy to take plenty of great snaps and full HD videos with great quality. The camera is five megapixel to the rear and VGA on the front.

The POP S3 is the latest installment from Alcatel OneTouch's Pop S range. Dan Dery, chief marketing officer for Alcatel OneTouch, said: "The POP S range makes an LTE smartphone fun, easy and available to all. An ideal first LTE smartphone, the POP S range offers a handset suited to every need, whether that’s streaming, browsing or creating content on the go. Just as picking a T-shirt, you simply choose your size and your favourite colour."

Other phones in the range include the POP S7 and POP S9. Screen sizes and colour options differ, meaning its easy to find a phone that works for you.ADNFCR-2155-ID-801728114-ADNFCR
