People looking to get a new mobile phone could take a glance at a number of handsets on offer from Virgin Media.

Mobile recycling with Mazuma might give consumers the cash they need to upgrade their existing device.

In excess of one million customers in the UK are now signed up to its Pay Monthly mobile phone service, an increase in customers of 40 per cent in the last year.

Graeme Oxby, executive director of mobile and home phone at Virgin Media, suggested the increase in popularity was partly due to its "market-leading mobile tariffs, built on simplicity and flexibility, exciting new handsets and outstanding value for money across all of our bundles".

He added that more customers are also opting to receive a greater number of services from the company.
Virgin Media has recently launched an array of new handsets have including the HTC Desire, LG InTouch Max, BlackBerry Bold 9700 and Nokia X6.
